Career Services Webinar!

Career Services is hosting a Webinar on Thursday, February 20th 2014 from 2-3:30pm in T122. The Webinar is titled: “Transforming College to Career: Investing in Your Campus Career Initiatives”.

The current economic situation has produced a new level of demand for career counseling services and left parents and students with increasing concerns about the value of a college education.

Bottom line — parents and students want confirmation that their investment in costly education will bear dividends in the form of better career opportunities after graduation.

Colleges and universities — facing declining enrollments — have taken notice, with the spotlight now squarely focused on the Career Services office. What that spotlight often illuminates, however, is an old model of counseling and employer relations that is ill-suited to prepare students for the “new normal” employment environment.

Join our expert presenter as she examines the drivers of change in career services, and prerequisites for success in preparing today’s students for their futures. You will explore, in depth, three types of career initiatives that create “quick wins” for any college or university. And, you will be introduced to a transformational NEW model of career services that produces results without breaking the bank.
