Please be sure to SIGN UP as soon as possible if you plan to donate!  As well as remind students to sign up for donating and/or volunteering!  Thank You!

American Red Cross Blood Drive!
Wednesday, October 10th & Thursday, October 11th
11:00am – 4:00pm
GCC Forum

Each of us can play a crucial role in maintaining our community’s supply of blood and encouraging others to do the same!  Volunteers provide every unit of blood collected and processed by the American Red Cross.  Most donors find giving blood a rewarding and satisfying opportunity for saving someone’s life.  Please consider donating!

PLEASE SIGN UP IN ADVANCE in the Student Activities Office if you plan to donate and/or volunteer!
You can also schedule your appointment to donate by registering online at http://gcc.givesblood.org

The Red Cross strongly encourages registrations ahead of time so they can make the proper staff arrangements.  However, they will take walk-ins on the days of the Drive.

If you donated on or before August 15, 2012, you will be eligible to donate (or June 20, 2012 if you were a double red cell donor!).  Please bring proper ID as well!

All GCC donors and volunteers will be entered into drawings to win $25 gift cards to Barnes & Noble bookstore!  All student volunteers will also earn Cougar Cash!

Celebrate National Restaurant month this October with a special offer from Pizza Hut!  All presenting donors in October will receive a coupon for a FREE Personal Pan Pizza (up to 3 toppings) with the purchase of any Large Pizza at regular menu price.

All donors will receive a gift card for a $12.99 oil change at Monroe Muffler, and an American Red Cross/Buffalo Bills drawstring bag!

All presenting blood donors age 21 and over can enter to win a Grand Prize trip for 2 to the set of The Walking Dead, with an estimated retail value of $3,000!

For more info, go to www.redcrossblood.org.

We do also have a sign-up sheet in our office for volunteers, for both days of the Drive, so we’d appreciate it if you could please encourage your students to sign up for a shift!  Even just a half-hour for one day is helpful and appreciated!
