Free Princess and the Goblin Play on April 18!

A reminder that on Wednesday April 18th, there is a Free Performance in the Stuart Steiner Theatre

What’s is happening at the theatre this week….

Faculty, staff, and students-
FREE daytime performance by the Forum Players of “The Princess and the Goblin” a Stuart Paterson play, on Wednesday, April 18th at Noon in the Stuart Steiner Theatre!

Directed by Norm Gayford

This play is age appropriate for all ages – Length: One Hour 20 minutes

The Princess and the Goblin is George MacDonald’s second fantasy novel for children and adults and is widely regarded as both his best children’s story and one of the finest fantasy tales ever written.

Storyline: The Princess Irene lives in a castle with her nurse Lootie, while in caves below dwell a race of ugly goblins with heads as hard as stone. The Story is of a fantastic confrontation between the Princess, her supernatural fairy like great-great-grandmother and her friend Curdie on the one side, and the gnome-like goblins on the other.

The GCC Forum Players cast includes: Amber Lively, and Brianna Kent, sharing the role of Princess Irene; Tyler Eldred  as Nurse Lootie; Ben Liebrand as Crown Prince Krankl; Patrick Dodge as Curdie Peterson; Aiden Bonacci as King Cob & Father; Alayna Zimbric as Mother; Bill Rupp as Fannon; Emily Jones as Great Grandmother; Laura Demmer as captain of the Guard,  Brandt Beckstrand as King Papa; Joanna Taheri as Queen Mam; Nytazia Brooks and Jessica Yost as Banshee and Sly; and Sara Stabley tackling the responsibilities of stage manager.

We also have an evening performance for the general public on Friday, April 20th at 7:30pm; tickets reservations are needed for this performance by contacting the box office at<> – Ages 12 and under free – Adults $8 – Seniors $5 – GCC Students with ID $3
