Imagine yourself awakening each morning in the green countryside of the Emerald Isle. There is still time for you to sign up for GCC’s Study Abroad in Ireland Program. Running from June 4-19, this visit offers 6 credit hours and an opportunity to immerse yourself into all that makes Ireland uniquely wonderful. Participants stay at Rathgillan Farm, about an hour from Dublin, and explore such sites as The Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, the Wicklow Mountains, Trinity College (where we see the Book of Kells), and much more.. You will learn to speak a bit of Irish, to dance a jig, and play the bodhran. You will also gain a deeper understanding of Irish culture, history, and art. For more information, see the attached brochure, visit the GCC study abroad website (http://www.genesee.edu/academics/studyabroad/). Please keep in mind that this opportunity is open to all GCC students, faculty and staff who register for the six credits.
